Rosehip is the fruit of the rose plant containing a variety of minerals and nutrients encapsulating a small rose seed pod. Rosehip shells are often used for its rich Vitamin C content. Other major components of rose hips include: carotenoids beta-carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin, lycopene, and various flavonoids. Rosehips can be used as base for herbal drinks and teas offering light rosy notes with hints of sweet pear. It also makes a wonderful refreshing drink of its own with additional benefits of various useful nutrients. These first grade rosehips are grown the Black Forest region of Germany. Rosehips do not contain caffeine.
