This Mayfair Tea organic Lemongrass comes from Thailand where it was air and sun dried using traditional process. Cymbopogon flexuosus, a native variety of Lemongrass grown in Thailand famous for its many uses as an important culinary and flavouring herb. Lemongrass tea is particularly valued for its sophisticated sweet lemon taste without the tangy flavour present in citrus tree lemon fruit. This herbal lemon character makes lemongrass a perfect tisane offering a refreshing, slightly sweet, fruity drink. Lemongrass is naturally free from caffeine.
Brewing Guide: 1-2 tea spoons in 250 ml water at 100°C for 6-8 min
