Blackbird Breakfast tea by Mayfair Tea is a blend of finest high altitude and sea level black teas from the finest two black tea growing regions – Assam, India and Kericho, Kenya. Assam leaf gives this blend pleasant briskness, mellow flavour and bright colour. Kericho leaf adds richness and sophistication to this blend. This region of Kenya is located in highlands with rich rainfall offering perfect conditions to grow tea plants. Additional herbal notes include Safflower bloom. Safflower is often used in place of saffron offering similar herbal nuance.
